Silver |architecture+design| was founded in 2007 by VaishJais.

"This studio is an experimental backdrop for all my explorations. Its constantly evolving, since architecture + design touches our lives, in more than one way. It is seemingly impossible to encapsulate about my studio in a phrase or sentence.

BIOBioVaish Jais received her professional architectural graduate degree in 2002 from School of Architecture, CEPT (INDIA). She incorporates a multidisciplinary approach to her work. Her practice extends from designing private residences, well known restaurants, urban inserts to building restorations. Born in 1980 in Indore, Madhyapradesh in the country of India, Vaish Jais moved to America in 2005. She was a research analyst and architect at CEPT-Research in Architecture Lab, in 2001. Later in 2003, she worked with Elephant: strategy+ design, as exhibit designer and architect. Vaish Jais founded Silver |architecture + design| in 2007, to pursue further her passion for architecture.Vaish Jais loves to travel and enjoys long drives. In leisure, she goes for coastal kayaking. Also as a docent, you can find her giving a tour of Mies-van-der-rohe’s work, the Farnsworth House.
